Metro 2033 Redux
In 2013, an apocalypse struck the world, almost completely destroying humanity and turning the Earth´s surface into a poisoned wasteland. A handful of survivors took refuge in the depths of the Moscow metro, and humanity plunged into a new Dark Ages.
The year is 2033. An entire generation has grown up underground. Besieged station-cities fight for survival, while terrifying mutants roam the countryside.
Your name is Artyom. You were born in the last days before the Earth burned, but you grew up underground. You had never ventured beyond the city limits before, but a fateful event forced you to embark on a desperate journey into the very center of the underground labyrinth to warn the remaining survivors of the monstrous threat looming over them. • Descend into the depths of the Moscow Metro – one of the most atmospheric worlds in gaming history appears before you with stunning updated next-gen graphics and a frame rate of 60 FPS.
• Survive the horrors of the Russian apocalypse – don a gas mask, fight back against terrifying mutants and hostile humans, and survive a deadly environment.
• Updated graphics, a new build – more than just an HD version. Metro 2033 is presented in a new build, powered by the significantly improved Last Light engine, ensuring this version of the iconic game can be enjoyed by both longtime fans and newcomers.
• Two unique playstyles: Spartan and Survival – fight for survival in the style of Survival Horror or use the combat skills of a Ranger.
• The legendary Ranger Mode returns – will you dare to play the ultra-challenging Ranger Mode? With no graphical interface, deadly enemies around every corner, and a constant shortage of ammunition, you´re guaranteed a completely immersive experience.
Metro: Last Light Redux
The year is 2034.
Mutants stalk the catacombs beneath the desolate surface and soar through the poisoned skies.
But instead of uniting their efforts, the station-cities are locked in a struggle for absolute power and a doomsday device from the D6 military warehouses. A looming civil war threatens to wipe humanity from the face of the Earth forever.
As Artyom, burdened by guilt but driven by hope, you hold the key to survival—a ray of hope in this dark hour...
Metro: Last Light Redux is the definitive and most complete version of the classic Metro: Last Light, remastered using the latest, most advanced version of the 4A Engine graphics core for next-generation gaming systems. This edition also includes all previously released downloadable content, which adds an additional 10 hours of single-player gameplay.
