A retelling of Dante´s origin story set in a modern setting, DmC Devil May Cry™ retains the stylish production values, fluid combat, and confident protagonist that defined the iconic series, while adding a touch of darkness and brutality.
Dante in DmC is a young man who disregards authority, or even society in general. Dante knows he´s not human, but he´s also not one of the undead that has tormented him throughout his life. Caught between worlds, he feels like an outcast.
Thanks to his twin brother, Vergil, the leader of the opposition group "The Order," Dante learns what it means to be the offspring of a demon and an angel. This split personality significantly impacts the gameplay mechanics, allowing Dante to use the abilities of both sides at any time, transforming his Rebel blade on the fly, altering both combat and movement.
• Survive Limbo – The city of Limbo is a living entity bent on Dante´s destruction. The world will change before your eyes, attempting to hinder or even destroy Dante. Our hero will have to master demonic powers to reshape the world of Limbo to his liking, while honing his angelic skills to navigate this hostile, twisted environment.
• Who is Dante? — Explore the story of Dante´s personal development in a new retelling, immersed in a gripping plot that features both brand-new characters and familiar faces like Vergil, Dante´s twin brother.
• Unbridled Action — The intense and iconic combination of melee and firearms combat returns, expanded with angelic and demonic abilities and weaponry designed to drive all evil back to hell with a unique sense of cynicism and panache.
