Welcome to DayZ Badlands — a harsh land where your struggle for survival begins.
In the sweltering province of Nasdara — a sun-scorched, cracked earth with quicksand — you will have to fight for survival. You are one of the few survivors in this devastated world, which was torn apart by endless wars even before the appearance of the infected. Survival here is measured not only by every drop of saved water, but also by every saved bullet.
An entirely new territory.
Discover the largest official DayZ map — 267 km² of vast, desert lands located to the west of Chernarus and bordering the western frontier of Takistan. To the east, the desert approaches, and to the west, the lands are cut by the sharp teeth of the border mountains. This entirely land-based territory is a battle-scarred field where every inch of earth holds its own stories.
A geopolitically unstable region.
Walk through the ruins of endless proxy wars, where global superpowers fought for control over this resource-rich land. Abandoned monuments of history, densely populated Middle Eastern-style cities, and ruined Soviet military bases stand alongside modern oil rigs and processing complexes. Roads designed to connect East and West now stretch across the scorched earth as a symbol of lost hope.
A dry spring climate.
Survive in a dry climate, facing even more brutal droughts. Your thirst will not be so easy to quench — neither with the waterless land nor the few wells that survived the war. However, you will not be left defenseless in this scorching heat. You will be able to adapt using clothing, items, and firearms typical for this region. Moreover, unique infected await you, specifically created for this expansion. Prepare to challenge the extreme conditions of a land whose harsh beauty has miraculously survived despite all the destruction of war.
A land of bandits or a sanctuary for survivors?
The Wastelands. The name foretells trouble, but you will write this story yourself. War has ravaged these lands, and the outbreak of infection reset everything, leaving nothing but emptiness behind. Now it is up to you to decide what happens next. This is your story.
The Nasdara province is not just a battlefield, but a new stage for your survivor´s stories. Will you explore its secrets? Fight for dominance? Create factions and reclaim what was lost? The choice is yours, but remember: everyone´s blood dries in the sand.
