To be eligible for free Steam Guard support in case of an accidental sign-out, you must provide your unique device ID (e.g., MAC address) in the purchase chat before your first login. - After activation, do not update Windows, hardware, drivers, or the game. Also, disable auto-updates in Steam settings.
