- ⚙️ The Black Box HG-2 is a plugin for adding saturation and harmonics using multiple tube stages.
- 📦 Some features:
- 1️⃣ Main stage and parallel saturation stage. Each consists of two separate tube emulations.
- 2️⃣ The Pentode section generates even-order harmonics, while the Triode section generates third-order harmonics.
- 3️⃣ The AIR section controls the amount of post-saturation frequencies that appear around 10 kHz.
- 4️⃣ The calibration drop-down menu allows you to make adjustments to the high range. There are three options: Dark, Norm, and Bright.
- 5️⃣ The density control adjusts the input gain, and the plugin compensates by changing the output gain accordingly.
- 6️⃣ The input level control allows you to reduce the input level or boost it to extreme values.
- 7️⃣ The mix control adjusts the balance between the dry and rich signals.
