  • You can change your region once every 3 months (Steam rule). If 3 months have not passed, the change will be made after the restriction is lifted. Refunds will not be issued.
  • • It is recommended to change the region to Kazakhstan. Steam resets users from regions like Turkey and Argentina who are not actually located there. A VPN reduces the risks but does not eliminate them completely.

Изменил регион на Штаты, успешно.
Сначала опасался передавать учетные данные. Так что купил на этом же маркетплэйсе пару виртуальных карточек. Но с их помощью сменить регион не вышло, карты не подходили для оплаты в Стим. Не ясно, в чем была загвоздка, Стим выдавал ошибку оплаты без подробностей. Оплачивал из под трех разных ВПН, платных, вполне надежных и популярных. Пробовал завести учетку Paypal и другого подобного сервиса, но без настоящего номера учетную запись не создать, ипотом еще карточку к ней будет привязать не просто.
После всех попыток обратился к этому сервису. И все прошло хорошо! Данные передавал в окошке диалога после оплаты. Все сделали минут за 15. Пока все работает хорошо.
