Our economy is growing due to the development of the market, commodity-money relations. One of the market structures, which has a strong impact on the economy - it is a monopoly. Problems of suspension control tion of natural monopolies are particularly relevant in Russia, as the legal framework it is still very poorly developed, and for the establishment and functioning of the nor-mal product market must take into account the factor of natural monopolies.
Today, in the activities of monopolies, there are many problems associated with the efficient functioning of the monopolistic structure tour, especially their impact on the Russian economy. Immediately, market concentration and monopoly power must be studied in the same way as a monopoly market structure as a whole. Their impact on the economy depends on economic growth in our country and the well-being of the Russian population. Thus, Russia will position itself in the international market with the best hand, that is not unimportant for its development in the future.
This issue is given much attention in modern eco-nomic literature. Thus, the various aspects of its study are addressed in scientific articles by authors such as N. Yaremchuk, Gritsyuk TV, Borisevich VI etc.
In this regard, the purpose of research - to examine the monopoly power and market concentration in the Russian economy.
To achieve this goal it is necessary to solve the following set-chi:
1. acquainted with monopoly and monopoly power;
2. identify key indicators of market concentration;
3. identify ways of state regulation of monopolies;
4. Make analysis of monopoly power and performance of market concen tration-in a particular industry;
5. examine the effect of a natural monopoly in the modern Russian economy-ku;
6. consider modern methods of state regulation in the Russian practice.
The object of study of this work is a monopoly, as an extreme form of imperfect competition.
The purpose of this work - to illuminate and analyze the most important features, shapes and types of monopolies, as well as the main methods of dealing with them and especially Antimonopoly Policy of the Russian Federation in the modern market relations.
The work consists of an introduction, two chapters (theoretical and practical), conclusions and references.
