Thanks to your efforts during the passage of the "Gothic" and its sequel, the forces of good managed to defend the island horinis. Now it is time to go on a new adventure on the mainland, on much of which the government seized the ferocious orcs. While you were on the island, the evil creature has enslaved almost all of the human kingdoms. Only a few human groups in the southern desert, the icy mountains of the North and Midland was able to maintain its independence.

The outcome of the confrontation of men and orcs just depends on which side you will join. The player is free to fight on the side of the rebels, and to serve the invaders. Whatever the choice, it will tip the scales and decide the outcome of the war.

In the third part of "Gothic" is not the storyline that makes every game unique and different from the former. However, the ending will still be the one to decide the fate of Myrtana.
