The very first BATTLETECH extension adds new gameplay, depth and more than 30 hours of playing with new content to the piggy bank of your experience as a mercenary. Introducing Flashpoints: Branching short stories with high stakes link mercenary missions, crew dialogs, special events, critical selection moments and rare bonus rewards to take BATTLETECH and career mode gameplay to the next level.

The expansion of Flashpoints draws you into the intrigues and feuds of the Great Houses of the Inner Sphere and is designed to keep even the most hard-pressed commanders in constant tension. In addition to plot twists, some Flashpoint stories have sequential deployments in which players cannot be repaired or treated between missions, while others use penetration contracts that limit the tonnage of BattleMechs deployed.

In addition to adding 30 hours of exciting Flashpoints missions to BATTLETECH, this extension comes with three new ‘Mechs (including the highly anticipated Hatchetman), a new type of missions and a new tropical biome.
