Description of the methodology.
Symptomatic questionnaire SCL-90-R (English SimptomCheck List-90-Revised) is a clinical test and screening technique designed to evaluate patterns of psychological signs in psychiatric patients and healthy individuals. The original version of the scale, proposed by Derogatis and his colleagues (Derogatis, Lipman & Covi, 1973), based on clinical practice and psychometric analysis, was then modified and validated in this version (Derogatis, Rickels & Rock, 1976).

The test includes and describes the following scales:

Somatization.
Obsessive-compulsive syndrome.
Sensitivity.
Depression.
Anxiety.
Hostility.
Phobia.
Paranoia.
