The blog that I called "ancient" was written from January 2002 to November 2006, as an addition to my Bondin´s Music site. in fact, he was conceived as articles for foreign forums to which I wrote before.
The idea was as follows; I wanted to think through my own thoughts in more detail in order to be more consistent, but in the end these forums themselves disappointed me - they were mostly creative communities, and I became more interested in philosophy, probably because of this, or maybe just tired from communication; I wrote to the forums for myself in Russian, then translated into English (I speak languages very mediocre).
Since 2006, I have been translating into French and German (these sites are still stored on the “clouds”, but I don’t see any reason to publish them now), somewhere in September 2009 I began to hear direct quotes from my blog, from D A. Medvedev, but no mention of the source ... Strange and sad!
The article “Absolute State” was written by me as a rethinking of an established expression meaning an autocratic system, namely a rethinking of the Platonic work, which for centuries has been presented as a sermon of the monarchy, but in fact I did not find anything similar in it. Yes, the thesis that the state can be governed by one person, parted by philosophers, as written in the last, tenth book, may seem like that, but the whole work as a whole suggests otherwise. It seemed to me that this work was written more in favor of a noble, enlightened government than a monarchist one.
