Eleven years ago, a terrible fire took Alice´s family and left terrible scars in her mind. After that, she was imprisoned in the Rutledge Asylum, where she struggled to resist her demons, slipping further into her fantasy world of Wonderland. Now, ten years later, she has finally achieved her release, but still bears the heavy psychological burden of this tragic event.
With a broken mind, she cannot cope with the fear caused by her strange memories, dreams and visions. She might be better off in Wonderland. She has always been. She travels there in search of what the "real" world can´t provide: security, knowledge, and the truth about the past. But in her absence, Wonderland also suffered. Something has gone wrong, and now a great evil is besetting what was once her perfect haven. Can Alice save Wonderland - and herself - from the madness that consumes them both?
