Description
Build a winning deck using warriors, equipment, and spells from different factions in this tactical turn-based story card game. Work your way through major tournaments, each with its own opponents, battlefields, and even rules. Get new cards and upgrade your favorites, then combine them into any number of decks - you have a lot of room for experimentation!
During tournaments, you will also meet new characters, in conversation with whom you will have to make decisions that affect the fate of the whole world.
You play as Finn, a young man whose only chance to prevent a neighboring country from attacking his home is to master the special card game "The Way", which is used by enemies to teach the aristocrats the art of warfare. Infiltrate the tournaments they host and get close to the elite commanders. What to do in case of success is up to you. Just remember - your decisions have consequences!
The basic gameplay is deceptively simple: each turn, you can play one character and support card, and then all your units will rush to the enemy and attack - if they can! But the real challenge lies in building your own deck and choosing combinations, as well as which cards to hold until the right moment. These rules also apply to your opponents - in most cases. Each battle has its own rules and features, but they can be turned to your advantage if you build your deck correctly!
Warriors range from powerful frontline fighters to vulnerable shooters and support characters. Equipment cards strengthen warriors on the battlefield, while spells help them or weaken the enemy. There is no clear strategy in the game - build a deck of powerful, well-protected and capable of healing fighters or charge into battle with poison-savvy bandits and powerful shooters to crush enemy warriors before they have time to recover, and much more. With such a huge selection of cards, the number of possible combinations is innumerable.

Each battle in Ash of Gods: The Way is a carefully crafted challenge with specific targets and opponents. Whether you´re capturing control points, protecting your commander from a deadly warrior, or fighting through a series of duels, you´ll need all your ingenuity to win. The outcome of every battle matters!
Turn the little things to your advantage. Traps are waiting for you, which can be both dangerous and open up new opportunities depending on your strategy, as well as powerful runes that can completely change the course of the battle!
If the chosen tactic does not work, just change the cards and their improvements to try something new - the game does not punish for experimentation or changing strategies.
