ARK: Survival Ascended has completely recreated and redesigned Ark´s artwork and worlds to take advantage of the latest in video game technology, Unreal Engine 5, using high-quality graphics features such as fully dynamic global illumination ("shimmer") so that light bounces off surfaces realistically and provides realistic reflections as well as advanced meshes (“nanites”) of hundreds of millions of triangles for extreme detail.
